I am plotting to modify the information on the Sakis Rouvas page on the English Wikipedia as I am a member, please, can anyone have any basic information about him as I can add it to the Wikipedia to make it better and more up to date.

My plan is (of course) to make sure that the Swedish version will be up to date and as complete as can be. I just haven't had the time yet (or, I have had other priorities, like spending time on this forum ...).

I have some I already know to start you off.

In 2002, Sakis became the first man ever to be on the cover of the Greek Vogue.

Sakis is the only Greek singer ever to have been offered to be the face of soft drinks giant Pepsi.

His albums have had always gone either gold or platinum in Greece.

Jesus Christ, you should check out the latest additions about Sakis on the English Wikipedia, there is a lot of information I have never knew about.

Go here to see the extracts taken from it posted in the biography section so people could quote on it. It's so interesting that I decided to put it in the biography section as well.

Girls, thanx to this forum Sakis has his name as an entry in the Portuguese Wikipedia. I've been using both the English and the Portuguese versions for a long time but never thought about adding anything. You just gave the courage to.

I try my best when it comes to Sakis in Finnish Wikipedia. I know there is smth about him, because I have seen the page.

If it's there you'll find it. There was nothing about him in Portuguese. I hadn't even noticed because I use the English Wiki too.

Current Projects


On December 5,2006, Sakis released what has been critically acclaimed as 'his best work ever', "Yparhi Agapi Edo" (There's Love Here). The album consists of 15 tracks. It is composed mostly of dance hits and a few ballads.


The album blew up the the Greek International Top 40 Charts, and remains the best-seller. It became platinum in just three weeks and is currently at double platinum status. The first single from the CD is a ballad called "Ego Travao Zori" (I'm In Agony). The video for the single was first shown on December the 15th. The song 18 (Yparhi Agapi Edo) reached the top of the Greek Airplay Charts, and the video for the 2nd single "Ola Gyro Sou Gyrizoun" (Everything Revolves Around You) is set to be shown the first week of February.


In the fall of 2006 it was revealed that Sakis teamed up with the biggest production company in Greece and is starring in his first movie, entitled "Alter Ego," which is due out sometime in March. Although the company is keeping everything about the plot top secret, the movie has already gathered lots of interest from audiences and critics everywhere in Greece. A vague description of it is that it's about 5 young artists on their way to the top in a rock band. It is rumored that the film will be released in several countries in Europe.

Good for you Aleera, at least you are trying to make Sakis heard.

I have an idea to do in the future, what do you think of it?
Do an article on Wikipedia entirely of the film Alter Ego.
If there is enough info collected, I could do that.

The Current Projects bit on there is out of date, it needs more up to date news in there, could anyone help me write it because I prefer when people give me ideas and plot it out myself.

I updated the Current Projects bit on there, plus I added one more on th Trivia bit.

Here is what I wrote.

*A new CD single is said to be released soon, with 2 new songs written by Pigasos.
*Is said to star in a new forthcoming film, again by Village Productions and not much is known about it yet.
*Is doing concerts all over Greece. Some of the venues include Corfu and Ptolemaida, which are for the environment, the next one is Athens, which is for the blood donation.
*Is said that he is doing a concert in New York in November.
*Is going to Melbourne, Australia in April next year to appear in a club with Antonis Remos.

Here is what I wrote in the trivia bit.

*He is good friends with Tom Hanks and his Greek American wife Rita Wilson.

Great stuff u put in there Mo especially the part of Rita Wilson being Greek-American.
