Anyone who has listened to those comparisons and has their opinions on them, don't hesitate to post them.

I've heard Year 3000 before, and I'd definitely have to agree with you on that one. The intros to both songs sound very similar.

Even though I was never a fan of Busted, I kept hearing their songs on radios and music channels at the time they were big in my country about 3 or 4 years ago. I have their first album though with that song on.

The following songs Mikros Titanikos and Sorry seems to be the hardest word by Elton John are very similar in the orchestrations and also the piano rhythms in my opinion.
