| If you all thought the Chinese which Stelios posted was hard to understand... see how you go with the Yorkshire dialect. I am a Yorkshire lass but if I were to speak to you in this way... would you understand me at all????
Take the test!
The following examination paper is to help visitors from the south on their arrival in Yorkshire. Each item has to be translated into English. Time allowed 20 mins. Ten correct answers - go back to where you came from you will find life easier. Twenty correct answers - stick around. In another 20 years you will do much better. Thirty correct - you obviously come from Bradford. All correct - you are a born applicant for the Open University Course. Please note the letter ‘g’ is always hard as in ‘got’

| I use Yorkshire when Im being naughty and talking about someone when they are in front of me!!! lol lol They cant understand a freakin word!!! Its a useful tool to have when you want to insult a greek who speaks English!! He may speak English but theres no freakin way he will understand if I speak in my local dialect!!! Soo..... if a greek pisses me off ( it happens quite frequently) this is what he gets!! Jxxx | |
