| I don't know what happened. I just know that it is true. It is in the region of Athens. But I am so tired of listening of fires in our montains. Last year I was crying for 7 days because the fire was next to my village. I can't stand any more the picture of a fire. | |

I remember the one last year, that was very bad and it was all over the news in my country at the time. | |

| Yes it's true that 3 big fires happened today in Athens. Not to the centre of the city but to the mountains around. It's really sad because last year a huge piece of green in Athens destroyed from fires and the eastern suburbs were the only one that had servived... | |

| As far as I'm concerned fires are quite common during the dry Summer season in Greece, 'though they aren't usually as severe as the once that were ranging in Athens region last year.
Here we don't have to be affraid of forest fires at least not at the moment, cause it's been mostly raining during last 3 weeks. | |
