I was told by my family yesterday that there was a riot in Athens recently. I have heard NOTHING about it and I am in doubt, can any Greek member tell me if that is true or not? Cheers Moldie

Yes, Mo ! Unfortunatly a year ago a 15 year old boy died from gunshot of a policeman. That's the reason for this year riot... they burned the greek national flag, destoyed shop-windows, threw "molotof-bombs" etc...
Sad situation... they're just using that boys death to destroy, to show off... They are called " the known unnkown"

This is definitely not a good way 2 remember a 15 year old boy! Well I wonder what the family of that boy feel about this?! I just hope it won't go on any further! Otherwise many innocent lives could b in danger! It's just another tragic situation just like last year! It certainly is not going 2 help and it certainly is not going 2 bring him back!
