I bought yesterday a folder for the gift that has plastic pockets to cover the pages. It even has a plastic pocket on front cover so you can customize it yourself. So here's little smth that I created for the front cover (outside)

It made me laugh too and Im afraid thats a problem for me.

I think this presentation is TOO IMPORTANT to have any kind of gimmicky quotes on it.

Sorry - thats just my personal opinion Em. The presentation you have made is just sooo beautiful - why cant it just be left alone now?

Although I have some "notes"!
I think that the cover is too professional to leave on one of the photos the adress of another website.It seems to me like you haven't noticed it.

I also believe that it would be even better if you change the 2 top central photos with other where Sakis is all alone(in these there are some journalists in the back) and the second one with another where he can been shown better without a paper in front of him(it seems that the paper attracts all the impression leaving Sakis "2nd").

I don't want to find something to say but I want the perfect for him. It's a really important gift this for Sakis and I think we have to think about every detail.
Of course this is only my opinion!

Ok Ive taken a look at the second one and I would agree with Christina that all references to other sites should also be removed if you are going to use this cover.

I still believe however that your original cover simply wishing him Happy Birthday was just perfect. Too much artwork and too many covers just detract from the actual IDEA of the gift and it is the IDEA that he is going to be so touched by.

It was perfect in your 4th version Em - everyone has said so - so why change ANYTHING at all???

but the portfolio is one of those 2 euro thin plastic ones and looks kinda plain and cheap

Why not use a hole punch down the left hand side and thread some red ribbon through so that he can open it like a book. It doesnt have to be in a plastic cover - only when it is travelling with you to Greece. When you actually get round to handing it to Sakis, you can discard the plastic and just hand him the rest tied together with a beautiful red ribbon on Valentines Day!


Im sure that once he has it in his hands, he will keep it protected.

Im sorry to keep going on and on Em but I just LOVED it the way you had it!!

Did you know that one star costs 39,90 euros and you'll get a diploma and you get to choose a name for it...any name in the universe...as long as there isn't another allready. I will take copies of the diplomas for myself and give the originals to my stars.
